Carpentry professionals are involved in numerous construction activities. Home builders use specialty trade contractors who then hire carpenters who specialize in just one or two activities. Those activities may include erecting scaffolding, setting forms for concrete construction; or doing finishing work, such as installing interior and exterior trim.
