Homeowner-to-Contractor web-based service now available in Atlanta.

Denver, CO - May 15, 2007 - BestContractors.com, a web-based service connecting homeowners to pre-screened contractors and other home service professionals, announced today it has added Atlanta to the roster of cities and states it serves as it continues an aggressive market growth program for 2007.

This latest announcement comes on the heels of the company's other recent successful market launches. Henninger attributes the positive reception of the service to the strength of local marketing and the care exercised in pre-screening contractors and other service pros who are invited to become members.

The company began serving San Diego, Tampa and West Palm Beach in February. They report a healthy flow of projects both from first time site visitors and from homeowners who come back to create additional projects. Atlanta is expected to be no different.

The site, located at http://www.BestContractors.com, differentiates itself from competing services by touting its "Predicated on Choice" philosophy of putting decision-making in the hands of homeowners. This point of distinction hasn't gone unnoticed by the public.

"From the moment homeowners arrive at our site the choice is up to them," Henninger said. "They choose the contractors they want to bid on their project, then they choose the winning bid."

The service began pre-screening Atlanta-area service professionals earlier this year in preparation for today's announcement. "We have a detailed process we go through to ensure that the pros we sign up are qualified and ready to handle the business we send their way."

There's also plenty of behind-the-scenes efforts that begin up to a year in advance of opening each new market. The company researches local media to determine how best to spend marketing dollars for quickest impact. They study regional demographics to get a feel for what types of unique projects will come in (hurricane-proofing is popular along the Florida coast for example). They even analyze traffic patterns and congestion to understand reasonable driving distances for service professionals.

Atlanta joins San Diego, Miami, West Palm Beach, Tampa, Ft. Lauderdale, Sarasota, Colorado, Minneapolis and Dallas-Fort Worth as BestContractors.com's service areas.
