Homeowner-to-Contractor web site continues rapid growth with addition of three major markets.
Denver, CO - February 28, 2007 - BestContractors.com, a web-based service assisting homeowners in their search
for pre-screened contractors and other home service professionals, announced today it is adding San Diego, Tampa
and West Palm Beach, Florida to the areas it serves as it continues aggressive growth into 2007.
"Homeowner demand for skilled contractors in these markets is especially strong," said CEO Mark Henninger.
"That's a perfect fit for us as we are able to quickly match those homeowners with our pre-screened member
contractors."
He went on to add, "We've noticed many reasons why homeowners take on improvement or remodeling projects.
But the one constant we have found is that homeowners just don't have the time or patience to screen and work
their way through contractors who don't measure up."
The site has made customer service a hallmark by carefully screening both incoming homeowner projects and
the service professionals who are members of the site. Positive responses in the form of testimonials,
homeowner-driven ratings and other feedback have demonstrated the site's rapid acceptance in each new
market it enters. This personalized attention stands in contrast to other sites that rely on third-party call centers.
"Homeowners appreciate our screening processes and the fact that we give them the choice of picking who
they want bidding on their projects," said Henninger. "It's a value-added and hands-on approach we think sets
us apart."
The addition of these markets signals the transition of BestContractors.com from a regional to national player
in the home improvement industry.
In addition to San Diego, West Palm Beach and Tampa, the site, located at
http://www.BestContractors.com, also serves Colorado, Minnesota, Dallas-Forth Worth and Miami.
Future market expansion plans for 2007 will be announced in the summer.
