Internet-based homeowner/contractor resource enhances web site as it continues nationwide rollout
Denver, CO - March 6, 2006 - BestContractors.com, an online resource for homeowners looking for quality
residential service professionals, contractors, builders and remodelers, today launched enhancements to
its web site making it easier for homeowners to retrieve contractor data. The improvements include an
overall redesign with increased efficiencies, enhanced communications, and improved reporting capabilities.
"Homeowners come to us with a specific task in mind: find reliable service professionals for their home
improvement projects," said CEO Mark Henninger. "Our goal with this launch is to help them accomplish
this task more efficiently with fewer clicks, thereby improving the overall experience."
The site, located at http://www.BestContractors.com, features a totally rebuilt home page with brighter,
more welcoming graphics. "Homeowners tell us that taking on a home project, especially a large scale
project like a kitchen remodel, can be intimidating. Add to that the challenge of finding a contractor you
can be comfortable working with. Our new home page is designed to put homeowners at ease."
Henninger adds that his company places a great emphasis on offering an easy and inviting interface.
"We listen to people. We go to trade shows and take notes on the feedback the public provides." Not only
is that good business sense, he says, but it gives the company a marketing point-of-difference between
it and its competitors.
The redesigned web site comes on the heels of the company's recently announced expansion into
Minnesota along with their home base in Colorado. "Our test market of Colorado has demonstrated
the soundness of our business model and we're excited to enter into an aggressive growth phase."
