Internet-based homeowner/contractor resource targeting new markets
Denver, CO - February 7, 2006 - BestContractors.com, an online resource designed to improve interaction
between homeowners and residential service professionals, announced today it is adding Minnesota
to its service area that already includes Colorado.
"After thorough research, we've determined that the Twin Cities are a great fit for our growth plans,"

The company looks for markets with strong home renovation trends. This includes urban areas with
older neighborhoods undergoing revitalization. Communities in the northeast and upper Midwest have

starting with metro Denver but then rapidly grew to include the entire state of Colorado. The company
advertises through local media, Comcast cable and Internet search engines, such as Google, Yahoo
and MSN. Homeowners submit their home improvement or remodeling projects through the site for
free, view detailed profiles, photos, and ratings, and then select up to three contractors to bid on the
project. Contractors support the site with membership fees and must meet strict eligibility requirements.
