Wool Fabric Upholstery: A natural fiber from sheep, high resiliency, attacked by moths, fair abrasion resistance, poor sunlight resistance.
Cotton Fabric Upholstery: A natural plant fiber, excellent absorbency, resistant to moths, wrinkles easily, moderate abrasion resistance, moderate sunlight resistance. Leather Upholstery: Processed hides and skins from animals, excellent durability, varies in quality, requires special care in cleaning. Nylon Fabric Upholstery: Resilient, excellent abrasion resistance, poor sunlight resistance, easy care and maintenance. Polyester Fabric Upholstery: Synthetic fiber favored in blends to add dimensional stability, resistant to insects and mildew, good abrasion resistance, good sunlight resistance, resists waterborne stains. Rayon Fabric Upholstery: Manufactured fiber made from wood chips, may shrink or stretch when wet, poor abrasion resistance, moderate sunlight resistance, resistant to moths and mildew. Acrylic Fabric Upholstery: Synthetic fiber famous for wool-like feel. moderate resiliency, attractive hand, moderate abrasion resistance, excellent sunlight resistance.
