"A talented and meticulous craftsman, Mike Sanders of Total Light Construction provided service of uncommonly high quality while making our house a more beautiful place to call home. He undertook a complete remodel of our somewhat delapidated basement, and despite our incompletely-formed preferences, transformed it into a highly-functional and attractive laundry room.
In a separate project, Mr. Sanders completed several miscellaneous aesthetic improvements on the main level of our home, including installing natural slate tile aroudn our fireplace and hearth. We are delighted with the exceptional quality of his work. He is particularly skilled in troubleshooting the quirks and idiosyncracies encountered in our nearly 100 year-old home, and was fair and generous in negotiating additional work necessary to yield a more functional and attractive outcome.
The work was neither timely nor efficient, but our remodeling needs were met perfectly and our expectations exceeded. We have learned that a conscientious and personable contractor is a much more valuable resource than the promise of a quick fix. In addition to being highly satisfied with the work performed, we found Mike a pleasure to have as a guest in our home for several weeks. We recommend his services to anyone."

"We couldn't be happier with our decision to work with Total Light Construction. Mike Sanders is a very hard-working conscientious contractor who was present all day every day through project completion. Mike does all of the work himself so we never had to worry about having a lot of workmen with unknown credentials/experience doing the work. We never felt as though Mike was rushing the job or cutting corners to get the job done. Our kitchen underwent a total renovation and the transformation was astounding. We would definitely recommend Total Light Construction to anyone wanting to do a home renovation project. "
